Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This policy applies to all bookings made on Taskiko, operated by TASKIKO LLC FZC, and paid online through our payment provider, Telr, using Visa or Mastercard credit or debit cards. All payments and refunds are processed in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham).
2. Cancelling a booking
You can cancel a booking free of charge from your account dashboard at any time while it is in the “Confirmed” or “Assigned” stage — that is, before your Pro is on the way. Once your Pro is on the way, or the service has been completed, the booking can no longer be cancelled online and the payment is non-refundable, except in the cases described in section 5.
3. Rescheduling
Instead of cancelling, you can reschedule a booking to any available slot from your account dashboard, free of charge, subject to availability. Your payment carries over to the new slot in full.
4. How refunds are processed
To request a refund, contact us on WhatsApp or phone at +971 50 126 7407, or by email at hello@taskiko.com, with your booking reference. We review refund requests within 2 business days.
Refunds will be made only through the original mode of payment — the card used for the booking. We do not provide cash refunds or refunds to a different card or account. Once a refund is issued, please allow 10 to 45 days for the amount to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuing bank.
5. When you are entitled to a full refund
- We cancel your booking for any reason.
- No professional is available for, or arrives at, your booked slot — your choice of a full refund or a free rebooking.
- The service was not performed.
- You were charged more than once for the same booking — the duplicate amount is refunded in full.
6. Partial refunds and quality issues
If you have a concern about the quality of a completed service, contact us within 48 hours of the visit. We will investigate and may offer a free re-visit to put things right, a partial refund, or a full refund, depending on the circumstances. Cancellations requested after the Pro is on the way, and services completed as booked, are otherwise not eligible for a refund.
7. Quote-based services
For services priced by quotation, payment terms are agreed when you accept the quote. Once paid, the same cancellation and refund rules above apply.
